Enter the Art Competition to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Disease!
Parkinson’s disease also known as ‘shaking palsy’ is only second to Alzheimer’s disease in terms of Neurodegenerative Diseases. As the ageing population increases, the number of people with Parkinson’s disease is expected to rise. Unfortunately many people are not aware of Parkinson’s; what it is, how it manifests, progresses and the effects it has on the person and those close to them.
World Parkinson’s Day on April the 11th aims to shine a light on Parkinsons disease by raising awareness and funds for a cure. In conjunction with this day, the team at Armando Hasudungan are launching an art competition to help promote this worthy cause.
Whether you have firsthand experience with Parkinson’s Disease or would just like to contribute, the competition aims to encourage greater understanding and awareness of Parkinson’s Disease.
In addition to some great prizes, finalists will be judged by an international panel and their artworks auctioned off by EPDA with funds going to helping find a cure.
