Posterior urethral valves

Posterior urethral valves are congenital membranous folds obstructing the posterior male urethra, causing bladder outlet obstruction. This condition is a leading cause of urinary tract obstruction in male infants, often presenting with urinary retention or recurrent infections. It can lead to bladder dysfunction and progressive renal damage if untreated.
