Antiarrhythmics

Antiarrhythmics are drugs that modify cardiac electrical activity to prevent or correct abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias). They are crucial in managing conditions like atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, reducing morbidity and mortality. However, some antiarrhythmics can paradoxically provoke arrhythmias, necessitating careful monitoring.
