Radiographic sacroiliitis is inflammation of the sacroiliac joints visible on X-ray, characterised by joint space narrowing, sclerosis, or erosions. It is a key diagnostic feature of axial spondyloarthritis, aiding early identification and management of inflammatory back pain. Untreated, it may lead to joint fusion and chronic disability.
