Bradyarrhythmias

Bradyarrhythmias are a group of heart rhythm disorders characterized by a slower than normal heart rate, typically defined as fewer than 60 beats per minute. They are clinically significant as they can lead to inadequate cardiac output, resulting in symptoms like fatigue, dizziness, or syncope, and may require interventions such as pacemaker implantation. A common example is atrioventricular (AV) block, which can progress to more severe forms and increase the risk of cardiac arrest.
