Cushings triad

Cushing’s triad is a clinical syndrome characterised by hypertension with a widened pulse pressure, bradycardia, and irregular respirations, indicating increased intracranial pressure and brainstem compression. Recognising this triad is critical for urgent intervention to prevent irreversible brain injury. It is commonly associated with traumatic brain injury or intracranial haemorrhage.
