Fungal pneumonia

Fungal pneumonia is infection of the lung parenchyma caused by a pathogenic fungus. It includes endemic fungal pneumonias acquired from environmental exposure and opportunistic pulmonary mycoses that occur mainly in susceptible or immunocompromised hosts.
