Hodgkin’s lymphoma

Hodgkin's lymphoma is a type of lymphatic cancer characterised by the presence of Reed-Sternberg cells, which are large, abnormal lymphocytes. It is clinically significant due to its relatively high cure rate with early detection and treatment, typically involving chemotherapy and radiation. A key association is its occurrence in young adults, particularly those aged 15-35, and it may present with complications such as secondary malignancies or infections due to immunosuppression from treatment.
