Vertebral fractures are breaks or collapses in the vertebral bodies of the spine, often resulting from trauma or weakened bone integrity such as osteoporosis. Clinically, they cause pain, spinal deformity, and impaired mobility, impacting quality of life and increasing morbidity. Osteoporotic vertebral fractures are a key predictor of future fractures and require timely diagnosis and management.
