Hypoglycaemia

Hypoglycaemia is a clinical condition characterised by abnormally low blood glucose levels, typically below 3.9 mmol/L, impairing cellular energy supply. It is critical to recognise promptly as it can cause neuroglycopenic symptoms and, if untreated, lead to seizures, loss of consciousness, or death. Insulin therapy in diabetes is a common cause.
