Infiltrative disorders

Infiltrative disorders are conditions characterised by abnormal accumulation of substances or cells within tissues, disrupting normal structure and function. Clinically, they are important as they often cause progressive organ dysfunction and diagnostic challenges. A key example is amyloidosis, where protein deposits impair cardiac or renal function, leading to serious complications.
