Pulmonary haemorrhage is bleeding into the lung parenchyma or airways, impairing gas exchange and causing respiratory distress. It is clinically significant due to its potential to rapidly compromise oxygenation and cause life-threatening hypoxia. Commonly associated with vasculitis, such as granulomatosis with polyangiitis, it requires prompt diagnosis and management to prevent respiratory failure.
