Urination

Urination, or micturition, is the physiological process of expelling urine from the urinary bladder through the urethra, regulated by neural and muscular mechanisms. It is clinically significant as changes in urination patterns can indicate underlying health issues, such as urinary tract infections or kidney dysfunction. A key complication associated with abnormal urination is urinary retention, which can lead to bladder distension and potential renal impairment if untreated.
