ECG changes

ECG changes refer to alterations in the electrocardiogram waveform that indicate variations in cardiac electrical activity, often reflecting underlying pathologies such as ischaemia, arrhythmias, or electrolyte imbalances. Recognising these changes is crucial in clinical practice as they guide diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions. For instance, ST-segment elevation on an ECG is a hallmark of acute myocardial infarction, necessitating urgent intervention.
