Vasculitis

Vasculitis is an inflammatory condition affecting blood vessels, leading to vessel wall damage and potential organ ischemia. It is clinically significant as it can result in a range of complications, including organ dysfunction, depending on the affected vessels. One key example is Granulomatosis with polyangiitis, which primarily targets small to medium-sized vessels and can cause respiratory and renal involvement, necessitating prompt diagnosis and treatment to prevent severe outcomes.
